Kids for tigers is an educational outreach programme that touches the lives of rural kids living next to tiger and urban kids across the country to save the wild tiger and its habitat. Inspired through workshops, nature walks, camps and tiger fests, a whole new generation of dedicated conservationists has emerged through the programme. Since its launch, in 1999, Kids for Tigers has snowballed into one of the India’s largest mass movements to save the tiger impacting one million children.
The students of Sharda Mandir High School are an active part of this programme which is dedicated to “LEAVING KIDS WITH A BETTER PLANET AND LEAVING THE PLANET WITH BETTER KIDS”. Our students with enthusiasm participated in the various events organized at the tigers fest by Sanctuary Nature Foundation on 17TH FEBRUARY, 2023 and bagged prizes in competitions like Poster making, Rangoli and Fancy dress at the junior and senior level.
The TIGER’S FEST encourages children explore their creative side as they participate in different activities with a focus on environment along with other children and communicates the positive hope to ensure the survival and maintenance of the tiger population in specially constituted Tiger reserves throughout India.
