Ashadhi Ekadashi Celebration at Sharda Mandir High School

Sharda Mandir High School celebrated Ashadhi Ekadashi on 24 July 2026 with great enthusiasm and devotion. The entire school premises resonated with chants of “Vitthal Mauli” and the rhythmic sounds of taal and mridang. The atmosphere was filled with devotion, joy, and cultural spirit.

The programme began in a traditional manner with the grand arrival of the Palkhi and Dindi in the school premises. The students dressed as Warkaris added a special charm to the celebration. The girl students carrying Tulsi Vrindavan on their heads and the students holding taal and saffron flags created a truly devotional atmosphere.

The students were given detailed information about its religious and cultural significance, the tradition of the Wari and the teachings of the Warkari tradition.

After the informative session, students presented a variety of cultural programmes like drama, poem recitation, Bhajan dance etc…

The programme concluded in a joyful and devotional atmosphere with a vote of thanks. The students expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Principal, teachers, non-teaching staff, and all the students who participated and contributed to the successful celebration.
