गुरुर्ब्रह्मा ग्रुरुर्विष्णुः गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः।
गुरुः साक्षात् परं ब्रह्म तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः॥
Guru” holds an important place in our lives by showing us the path, guiding us, nurturing us and inculcating values and morals, thus shaping our lives and steering us away from the darkness of ignorance by showering the light of knowledge. Guru Purnima is observed to honour the teachers or gurus. It is also the day that marks the birth Anniversary of Maharishi Ved Vyasa.
