Dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, Basant Panchami marks the arrival of the Spring season in India. Saraswati is the Goddess of knowledge, music, learning and arts, it is believed that without her blessings, the world would be shrouded in ignorance, as she represents enlightenment.
A special assembly on the occasion of Basant Panchami was conducted for the students. The students and teachers were dressed in yellow coloured attires. The celebration commenced with rendition of Saraswati Vandana. Thereafter. children were apprised regarding the significance of celebrating the festival with the help of ppt presentation, videos, skits, poem recitation in different languages, dance etc…
