“May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be even at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand”.
The auditorium of Sharda Mandir High School echoed with the blessings on the morning of 28th March 2023, when S.M. Family came together to bid farewell to the outgoing 2022-2023 batch of class 10 students. It was the morning of mixed emotions for all present at the school auditorium to witness the official send-off. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers to reminisce joyous moments. The Auditorium was festooned appropriately keeping in mind the theme ‘FRIENDSHIP’ with gold and silver balloons, the backdrop made in different shades of bright colours. Students of 9th Class organized farewell party with great enthusiasm and of course endeavoured to leave a trail of nostalgia.
It was a beautiful morning, the sun shining brightly as the batch of 2023 showed up, dressed in their finery. The young ladies glowed in fuchsia- coloured saris whereas gentlemen carried themselves smartly in suits. Elegantly dressed, the outgoing students entered the school premises at 11 am and they were well received by Class 9 students.
Everyone took the opportunity to get them clicked with the selfie corners based on wonderful theme. The guests were welcomed by the stage organised with a promise for making the day memorable.
The event began with gayatri mantra wherein section wise class 10 students walked on the ramp and introduced themselves. It was followed by a captivating dance performance i.e fusion of classical and western form. Then a wonderful drama was staged on the occasion. Mst. S.M.H.S was conferred to Hriday Jhaveri and Miss S.M.H.S was conferred to Rashi T. Shah. Everyone rocked with the lovely numbers played by DJ .Food was just sumptuous and apt for a lovely party.
Finally, we all agree with Gandhiji’s thought “There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever You are, you will always be in our heart”.
