Basant Panchami, also known as Vasant Panchami is celebrated in reverence to the Hindu deity Goddess Saraswati, epitome of learning, music & art. People celebrate this day by visiting temples, flying kites, and donating to the needy.
To celebrate this festival, the teachers of the SMHS held a Special Assembly on 27th January 2023. The meaning of the prayer “SARASWATI VANDANA’ was highlighted. The students were made aware about the importance of this month and why is it celebrated.
The temple was decorated and flowers were offered by all the students & staff of the school. Laddus were distributed to all.
