The first day of the school is often met with some anxiousness and excitement from teachers, parents and students. However, this year brought in a whole new set of challenges. Since March,2020, the world has struggled to adapt to and deal with COVID-19, a dangerous virus still with many unknown facts. But now its time to get Back to School.
All the standard safety procedures and protocols were taken care by calling students on the basis of even and odd roll nos. As the students entered the school premises, they passed the disinfection barrier, a thermal screening and sanitization. The first day of school for the students of Primary section was on 3rd, February,2022. They had a grand welcome. The entrance of the school was decorated with balloon arch and cartoon characters to create an atmosphere of joy. Teachers in the classroom welcomed them with a welcome song and videos. A pencil with a star of SMHS was given as a token of love. The students went home with lovely memories which they would cherish for years together.
