Elocution refers to one’s capacity of communicating with others, with the use of exact speech and gestures. To enhance oratory skills of the students, the ‘English Elocution Competition’ was conducted on 29th July 2021 for the Graders III & IV.
A healthy competitive spirit enlightened the faces of the students. It enabled the students to speak with more clarity and finesse and it surely was an enjoyable experience for all those who participated.
The topics were-
- Being happy/What makes me happy?
- Trying is better than crying.
It was indeed astounding to see how beautifully students had put their thoughts, insights, humour and delivered the speech which was fluent and erudite.
