This prophetic pronouncement of Benjamin Franklin echoed in our Shardarians. Students from grade 5 to grade 9 participated for Science and Mathematics Essay writing competition.

At Sharda Mandir School, we believe essay writing is a very sensitive form of self expression .It is a harmonious blending of ‘thought’ and ‘expression’. It is considered to be the most effective test of the ability of a candidate to express thought on a topic of great interest.

Students were given topics for Science and mathematics and 24 th February was taken to pen down.

Topics to work were: Science – the negative and positive health effects of lockdown, an astronauts life at the space station, How can we best save the endangered species, Are coastal routes a boon or a bane?

Mathematics :   Mathematics in everyday life, Symmetry in nature, Fibonacci sequence hidden in nature, Use of calculator a boon or bane ,Music and Mathematics.

Students of Sharda mandir high school wholeheartedly participated. Essay was judged on the basis of the students vocabulary, presentation and creativity.

The purpose of competition was to encourage the students to enhance their thinking and writing skills

.
