Educational trips are certainly very important for the overall development of students. It breaks the monotony of life, fills the mind with joy and makes learning an enjoyable experience.
Keeping this in mind, SM High School had organized an educational tour to Jaipur – Ranthambore, an extremely popular tourist destination from 21st December 2018 to 26th December 2018 for the students of Grade V to X.
The trip started with great zeal and zest from Sawai Madhopur station. The main attraction was Ranthambore National Park Tiger Reserve, where students were attracted by the majestic predators in their natural habitat. They visited the Ranthambore Fort which is known for its glory and valour of the Chauhan Dynasty.
The students next visited the beautiful Pink City, Jaipur founded in AD 1727 by Sawai Jai Singh II, the capital of Rajasthan. It is steeped in history and culture where the past comes alive in magnificent forts and palaces. The students visited the Amer Fort, Jal Mahal, Hawa Mahal, City Palace and Jantar Mantar. They also experienced shopping in the bustling bazaar, Bapu market of Jaipur, famous for Rajasthani jewellery, fabric, shoes and many more. They were taken to the cultural village of Chokhi Dhani where they experienced Rajasthani and culture and relished the Rajasthan thali.
Students returned from the tour with a lot of happy memories and knowledge with them.
