The students of S.M High school were all set to explore Hyderabad from 23rd December to 27th December 2017. A trip that was relevant and an excellent choice for tour, as Hyderabad is a repository of cultural excellence with vibrant colours.
The first day visit was to Hussain Sagar lake a popular tourist destination that connects Secunderabad and Hyderabad. The largest artificial lake in Asia that was excavated in 1562 AD, built on the tributary of river Musi and named after Hussain Shah Wali, initially build to cater to the irrigation and other needs of the city.The lake beautifies the city and the huge statue of standing Lord Buddha made up of white granite adds the grace to the city .The students enjoyed a boat ride on tranquil water of Hussain sagar.
On second day, the students were excited to experience the fantastic snow world, a wonderland of sheer delight as all came sledging down the white snow .
The trip to Salarjung Museum, a one man’s collection, consisting paintings, clocks, porcelain and weapons spread over four wings and thirty six galleries were beyond the expectation . The galleries were flooded with collection of Indian art, paintings, sculptures, manuscripts, furnitures, carpets and jade from all over the world.
The evening visit to Golconda Fort was spectacular, the sound and light show was very informative and it brilliantly showcased the history of the rulers. The unique features of the fort was the reflection of sound.
The third day was the most awaited visit of our tour to the Ramoji Film city, the largest film studio in the world, a tribute to the magic of cinema, a dream destination for entertainment and relaxation. The students enjoyed the cultural shows, theme park, a comic act and film sets spread over idyllic 1,666 acres striking architectural marvels.
In the evening on 26th December the students bid farewell to the Hyderabad city from Mansarovar hotel and boarded the Duronto express with abundant memories to be cherished for lifetime.
